Ian Moore's Cycle Ride for A.D.D.E.R.

cycle ride

For Four days in May, I joined that other 'Richmond Ranger' - Pete Blows, as he cycled from England into Scotland as part of his Land's End to John o'Groats (LEJOG) challenge.

I did part of LEJOG (nothing in comparison to Pete's 1,000 mile effort!) which was approximately 250 miles in four days, from Newby in Cumbria through Dumfries and Galloway, Lanarkshire, past Loch Lomond and finallt into Fort William, a major challenge  for an irregular cyclist like me.

This was all done in what can only be described as 'traditionaly Scottish weather' in other words, strong wind and pouring rain!

Thanks to all who have donated so far, I have exceeded my target of raising £500 which I know will be hugely appreciated by the A.D.D.E.R. team.

You have all given generously to a casue that often struggles for funds given it's low profile in comparison to many other charities.

Thank you all again.
