The Charity Barrow at the Metro Centre

The A.D.D.E.R. charity barrow at the Metro Centre was a great success despite only being open for one day on Saturday 11th October, although it had originally been planned to be open for two days that weekend.

We would like to extend a big thank you to Julie, Mary and Margaret who came and worked so hard that day and helped to make it a success. Also, our thanks go to Sheila who had volunteered to come and help on Sunday.

We made a total £154.70 and lots of happy children received consolation prizes of packets of crisps when they didn't pick out a prize number in the tombola. Also, our thanks go to all those who donated prizes for the tombola.
